Obituary for Evelyn Therese Perlinger
Evelyn Wilson Perlinger, RN, age 77 of Littleton, CO passed away on June 2, 2018. Evelyn was born on May 14, 1941 in North Platte, NE to Matthew and Evelyn Wilson. She was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School. She attended Creighton University and graduated from St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in Omaha, NE. She was married to Patrick Perlinger in 1962 and soon thereafter became the loving mother to Chris, Dan, Ann, Dee Dee, and Mary.
She is survived by her husband and children as well as her siblings Bernie Wilson, Mary Sedlacek, Marcia Petersen, Joe Wilson and Micky Aden. Evelyn was the proud grandmother of 17 and had two great grandsons.
She was a Registered Nurse practicing in rest homes and hospitals. She also had a long career at Colorado Foundation for Medical Care as an auditor.
As a part of her many years in pastoral ministry, she was a member of the Parish Pastoral Nursing Program, assisting retired priests and others in their final journey home.
A Rosary will be said at 7:30 PM, Sunday, June 10, 2018 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Sunday June 10, 2018. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 11, 2018 also at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
