Obituary for George Arthur "Art" Holden
George A. (“Art”) Holden, 93, of Littleton passed away peacefully on February 15, 2018.

Art was born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ. He served in the Navy in the Pacific during World War II. After receiving a Business Administration degree from Upsala College, he married Sally Dodd, his wife of 63½ years. They raised three children in Cranford, NJ, where he was involved in family and community activities.

He worked 50 years in the title insurance business, retiring in 2000 as Vice President and Head of Sales with Title Services of NJ. After moving to Littleton in 2000 to be near family, he enjoyed golfing and exploring Colorado’s great outdoors.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sally, daughter; Kathy Frear (Bill), also of Littleton; and granddaughter, Kati Bach of Highlands Ranch.

Art was preceded in death by his son, David Arthur; and daughter, Jane Frances Bach.

A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Littleton, 1609 W. Littleton Blvd., Littleton, CO 80120 on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 10:30 AM.

Memorial donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Littleton, or Friends of Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, 241 Pleasant Plains Road, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920.
