Obituary for Peter John Bellefountaine
Peter John Bellefontaine, 65 of Littleton, passed away in Denver, Colorado on March 27, 2018.
Born in Greenport, New York on August 14, 1952, he grew up in Montauk, New York, and was an integral part of a very tight-knit community. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and with his family. He spent most of his early life in New York, where he graduated from State University College at Brockport. After college, Peter spent time exploring the Rocky mountains and working in hospitality management. Peter managed restaurants all over the nation, from coast to coast. He met his wife Liz while living in North Carolina. They moved to Colorado with her two children, Joe and Meg, and shortly after they got married. Family was a huge part of Peter’s life - he loved spending time with his wife and kids. He loved taking family trips, and even going on some wild ones of his own. Peter loved spending time outdoors, especially skiing. Peter passed away on March 27, 2018, surrounded by his children and a close friend.
He is survived by his children; daughter, Margaret Stark, his son Joseph Stark; his sister Patty Kinney and her husband Michael Kinney; Patty and Michael’s children Leah Kinney, Sean Kinney, and Conor Kinney; and his great nieces and nephews Tobias, Caiden, Siena, and Louisa.
