Mike, I am so fortunate to have lived next to you and Linda for over 20 years, we got to see our children grow up togeather and become wonderful adults. I remember mornings wakeing up and hearing beautiful music coming from your house as you were sitting down at the piano. I am so sorry you have left this earth but I know for a fact that you are with some great company my mom and sister will be there to show you the ropes!! I wish I could be there for your Celebration of Life but know that I am there in Spirit.. I love great parties!! You will be missed by us all but you should be proud of the Legacy you have left behind.
A Friend Always

Angel of God, my guardian dear,
To whom God's love commits me here.
Ever this day be at my side, to light, to guard, to rule, and guide. Amen

Goodbye dear friend. Though it's been many years since we've physically seen each other, you know that you never were out of our hearts.
Though your body may have passed, your spirit will always be alive to us. You will always live on through your children and grandchildren - as well as dear Linda.
Till we see each other again.

Gone far to soon. I will miss seeing you, with Linda, in church. God bless you.

If you believe you are beaten, you are,
if you believe you dare not, you don't.
If you like to win, but you believe you can't,
it is almost certain you won't.
If you believe you'll lose, you're lost,
for out in the real world we find,
success begins with a man's will.
It's all in the state of mind.
If you believe you are outclassed, you are,
you've got to think high to rise,
you've got to be sure of yourself before
you can ever win a prize.
Life's battles don't always go
to the stronger or faster man.
But sooner or later the man who wins,
is the man who believes he can.
Mike - thank you for all of the wonderful memories over the past 25 years including all the laughter, wisdom and of course your help with the above poem in May 1994.. You were a role model of a father and husband. While you left us way too early, I am sure you are enjoying yourself in the new place. We already miss you dearly.
