Obituary for Alana Marie Abraham
On Friday, January 7, 2022, Alana Marie Abraham, loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, and aunt passed away at age 29.
Alana, who always went by Lana, was born on May 9, 1992 in Barrington, IL. She received her bachelor’s degree in business from Georgia Gwinnett College in 2014. She began working in marketing even before graduating and rose to become a marketing manager in a few short years. Lana adopted her beloved dog Brad in 2016. They went everywhere together, and she treated him like royalty.
Lana was extremely artistic. She had a passion for drawing, painting, and crafting. She loved the outdoors and she enjoyed taking advantage of them while living in Colorado. Lana liked to hike, paddle board, or just go for a walk. She was always very athletic. As a child Lana was a gymnast, diver, cheerleader, and played volleyball. She was known to her friends and family for her sense of humor, quick wit, infectious smile, and passionate spirit.
Lana is survived by her dog Brad, mother Cathy, brother Brett, sister Tawny, nieces Piper and Peyton, grandparents, Donald, and Lorraine, sister in-law Lauren, brother-in-law Walter, step grandparents Harry and Geraldine, uncle Mark, aunt Karen, cousins Emma, Charlie, and Amanda.
A viewing will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm with a funeral service on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 10:30 am all at the Chapel at Ellis Family Services, 13436 West Arbor Place; Littleton, CO 80127.
