Obituary for Alyce L. (Gibbon) Trunck
Alyce LaRayne (Gibbon) Trunck of Monument, Colorado passed away on December 4, 2016.
Alyce was born July 13, 1922 in Milner, North Dakota. She was raised on a farm with her parents and was the second oldest of 11 children. A devoted wife, she would have celebrated her 61st wedding anniversary on December 19th. Alyce accomplished much in her life, but by far the most important priority was her family. Alyce is survived by her husband Tom; 1 brother, David, and 1 sister, Mary. She was the loving mother of 5 children: Cindy (Brian) Peterson; Kent Trunck; Bruce (Sherry) Trunck; Anita (Steve) Nahmensen; Regina (Ken) Melvin. And her joy were the 16 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and Great, Great Grandchildren.
Heaven gained one remarkable woman, mother, wife, grandmother, and friend Sunday evening. Alyce exuded a love and gentleness for others that is unmatched by any we have seen; truly rare! Her passion for life was, and is, nothing short of contagious -- as we know it lies in every one of her children, grand children, great grandchildren and her great great grandchildren.
Alyce had a long and healthy life that she enjoyed with her daily view of Pikes Peak from their home in Monument. She and Tom, no doubt, shared many special memories. Now she will be one of those special memories.... she will be missed......
