Obituary for Anne Thomas
Anne Thomas went home to be with our Lord and Savior on June 23rd, 2021. She was born July 3, 1921 in Brownsville, PA to Peter and Sophie Nemish. She had three brothers and three sisters that preceded her. She graduated from Brownsville HS. She worked during WW-2 for Ford Motor Company. Later she graduated from Oakland Community College with an AA Degree. She worked in a HS with students requiring special and emotional needs.
Anne was married to Alex Robert Thomas of Blainsburg, PA on June 21st, 1941. They were married for 67 years and had three children. Anne loved gardening, golf, cooking and reading. She loved her family and the Lord. Anne attended the First Presbyterian Church of Littleton, Colorado since moving out west to live with her daughter in 2012.
Preceding her in death are her husband Alex, and son Randy. Anne is survived by her son Mark Thomas (Irene), daughter Melissa Thomas (Margaret), and three grandchildren which include Jennifer Murphy (Dan), Scott Thomas, and Sean Thomas. Anne also had three Great Grandchildren which include Julia Murphy, Jackson Murphy and Seth Thomas, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
