Obituary for Antonio O. Madruga
Madruga, Tony O., of Highlands Ranch, Colorado passed away suddenly on February 8, 2013 at the age of 54. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Karen Bartkowiak Madruga; son, Jason Anthony; and, daughter, Nicole Marie. He also leaves his brother Frank Madruga of Visalia, California. His mother, Aldora Macedo Ornellas and father, Ildo Xavier Madruga and beloved father-in-law James Bartkowiak, precede him in death. Tony was born in Pico, Azores, Portugal and emigrated to Lemoore, CA in 1960. He graduated from Lemoore High School in 1976 and San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1980. Tony was an entrepreneur starting two successful businesses, most recently as founder and President of dVault, Inc., a custom security box manufacturing company. He was very active in supporting the Boy Scouts and mentoring youth.
Cemetery: Final interment will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum, Santa Barbara, California near the ocean and mountains he loved.
