Obituary for Cameron Joseph Holub
Cameron Joseph Holub, 31, was a beloved son, brother, and friend. He was killed after his bicycle collided with a car at an intersection in north Denver. Cameron grew up in Louviers, Colorado, attending Sedalia Elementary, Castle Rock Middle School, and Douglas County High School.
Cameron was currently working at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in downtown Denver. He had a passion for live music, film, skiing, rafting, and traveling. Some of his travels included visiting New York, San Francisco, Chicago, and New Orleans as well as Mexico, Germany, the Bahamas, Italy, and France. Cameron was known as a loyal and introspective person who used his wit, charm, and fortitude to navigate life. In doing so, he touched and inspired those around him. He loved animals and especially cherished his pets.
He is survived by his parents: Pamela Bloom Beisker of Denver, and Pete and Nancy Holub of Louviers; his younger brothers: Spencer and James Holub; grandparents Bev and Arvid Bloom of Fort Collins and Evelyn and Bill Harris of Littleton; and several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also leaves his girlfriend of many years, Alex Storms, as well as many treasured friends who played an important role in his life. Cameron’s final act was to aid others through tissue donation by the Donor Alliance. He will be missed greatly and every day by many.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to Chill.org which promotes positive youth development using boardsports as a vehicle for empowerment or The Denver Dumb Friends League, an animal shelter and adoption service that seeks to end pet homelessness and suffering.
