Obituary for Christine Ann Head
Christine Ann Head of Centennial, Colorado passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 25th, 2020, at the age of 62.
Chris was born on October 22, 1957 to Margaret and Edwin Deaner in Denver, Colorado. She was raised in Westminster, Colorado where she graduated from Westminster High School and attended Colorado State University in Ft. Collins.
Chris had a long and successful career with the State of Colorado where she started as a computer operator and retired as an IT Manager in 2007. During this time, she made many close lifelong friends.
Chris will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 28 years, Van Head; her children, Keith Warren (Kailey Warren), Jenna Florea (Zane Florea), and Sean Head; brothers, Scott Deaner and Jeff Deaner (Jacky Deaner); her three grandchildren, Ryah, Caiden, and Jackson; and numerous extended family and friends.
Chris was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a strong-willed woman and a fierce competitor who had a heart of gold. Along with spending time with her family and friends, she loved skiing, golfing, paddle boarding, tennis, horseback riding, and cheering on her kids and grandkids at their sporting events. Some of her favorite places to make memories were in the mountains and at the ocean. We will remember the good times, good natured teasing, and her memorable laugh. Without a shadow of a doubt, she was the glue that held our family together.
