Obituary for Conde B. Pallen
Conde Benoist Pallen of Littleton, Colorado was born on January 20,1933 and passed away July 2, 2017.
Conde was born in New York City, New York to Thomas and Anita Pallen, brother to Ann Pallen (deceased). He was married to Barbara Mastro of Littleton, Colorado in 2005. Conde was previously married to Patricia Brundage Pallen in 1954 and she preceded him in death in 1989. Conde had four children Victoria Starkey (Rick), Susan Bastine (Jim), the late Cynthia Pallen,and the late Thomas Pallen and his stepson John Mastro. Conde was a loving husband, father, and grandfather to his five grandchildren Jeanette Starkey, Dana Komorowski (Joe), Michael Starkey, Patricia Yuill (John) and Jaclyn Bastine.
He proudly served in the US Army and was discharged in 1956. He obtained Bachelor’s Degrees from Manhattan College in New York and Metro State College in Denver. Conde worked as a purchasing agent for Johns Manville and most recently finished his career as a financial advisor for Wealth Strategies.
Conde was an active member and past president of the Highlands Ranch Rotary and recently achieved Fourth Degree with the Knights of Columbus at Saint Francis Cabrini Catholic Church. Conde enjoyed tennis, baseball and reading. Pop Pop, as he was affectionately called by his grandchildren, loved attending their various sporting and academic events always encouraging them in all aspects of life. Conde was blessed with many friendships throughout his life. He was a devoted and loyal friend who always found time to share a meal, a prayer and conversation.
Conde was devoted to his family and faith. He looked forward to family dinners, holiday gatherings and family trips especially to the beach.
