Obituary for Donald Lee Amaral

Donald Lee Amaral was born on August 25th, 1991, at Saint David’s Hospital in Austin, Texas. He passed away on September 6th, 2022 in Littleton, Colorado. He was just 31 years old.

In 1995, Donald and his family moved to Colorado. Learning to ski and snowboard quickly became two of his favorite winter sports. He started playing soccer when he was 10 years old for Littleton United and traveled to multiple states, competing for over 7 years, winning several trophies. Donald was a very energetic and athletic kid growing up who was eager to participate in everything he could. In middle school, Donald made two trips to Europe with his classmates. Greece was one of his favorite European locations. He loved to travel and experience different cultures and foods, with gelato being his favorite dessert.

In 2010, he started spinning his own music and became known as "DJ Donald Duck". From there he had appearances at Mile High EDM Radio, Social Kraze Entertainment, Epic Dance Movement Collective, and Rum and Monkey’s Say It Loud Radio. He was extremely passionate about creating music and would take every opportunity he could to expand his knowledge and skill base.

Throughout his lifetime, Donald had many passions to which he devoted portions of his life. Donald loved to cook and went through the process of learning how different flavors mingle together. Every time he made something new, he would tell people what he used and how well it turned out. It really showed how proud he was of his culinary skills. Donald would also compete in pool tournaments regularly and was very skilled. A lot of his time was spent practicing pool, and he truly enjoyed being able to play a game with his friends and family. Donald also loved to bowl, play games, watch anime, skateboard, and entertain as a whole. You would never be bored with him, as he was a fun and lively individual.

On October 1st, 2018, Donald became the father of a beautiful baby girl. Donald had a warm soul, which he passed on to a very spirited child. Donald was a fun and silly parent who was quite an expert at entertaining his daughter, who would laugh and scream with joy. He loved her with all his heart and his passion was passed onto her.

Donald was a humorous man who was always able to make others smile. He would share his passions for music, dance, comedy, and storytelling. Donald had an extremely large heart and would give an abundance of love to everyone around him. His level of care for those beside him made him an irreplaceable man in the lives of those fortunate enough to have met him and been a part of his journey. Relationships were incredibly valuable to him, and Donald gave those in his life endless affection. Many people have been touched over the years, whether it be his friends, his family, or even people he just met. Donald always left an everlasting impression.

He is survived by his daughter Alexandria Amaral, a large family, and friends.
