Obituary for Douglas H. Polesky
Douglas Howard Polesky, 70, passed away in his home in Castle Pines, Colorado on October 11th 2017.

Doug was born in Marshall, Minnesota, the first-born child to Vera Jones and Howard William Polesky on May 21, 1947. Doug spent his childhood growing up in several towns in the Midwest and graduated High School in Bismarck North Dakota in 1965. After High School Doug served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam and later married Linda Kostelecky. Together they had three daughters; Lynette Gefroh, Laura Gourley and Michelle Widhalm.

Doug worked in insurance throughout his career where he met his soulmate Cindy Marie Radcliffe of Denver, Colorado. The couple was married on September 3rd of 1978 in Denver, Colorado, celebrating their 39th wedding anniversary this past September. Doug and Cindy had one daughter, Jeannene Derback.

After retiring from corporate life Doug fulfilled his lifelong dream of being his own boss and started his own business, Doug’ll Mow It. When he was not busy tending to his garden and his fish tanks Doug could be found entertaining the young boys on the cul-de-sac that he loved dearly. Doug filled his days enjoying the company of his wonderful friends and neighbors and above all caring for his beautiful wife Cindy, the love of his life. Doug will be remembered by all that knew him for his kind heart, his willingness to always lend a hand to someone in need and his quick wit.

Doug is survived by his wife Cindy, 4 daughters, 6 grandchildren, 3 sisters and his brother.
