Obituary for Dudley E. Vessey
Dudley, age 78 of Golden, Colorado.
It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Dudley Earl Vessey. He passed away on April 7, 2021, after a short battle with stage 4 lung cancer. He was sent off with loved ones by his side holding his hands. Dudley is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends that adored him.
During his time spent here on earth, he truly lived life to the fullest. He was a dedicated and hard-working employee at Gates Rubber Company for 30+ years. He had a love for panning gold, fishing and playing basketball with his grandkids. He also enjoyed gambling in Black Hawk, and playing any game laid out in front of him as he was the most competitive man in the world! He was a force to be reckoned with, and someone you would always want in your corner. He had a deep love for his children, and grandchildren that burned like an open flame.
He will be deeply missed, and never forgotten.
