Obituary for Earl F. Ogden
“Those succeed in life whose heart is soft, mind is alive and spirit is peaceful”.

It is with great sadness our family announces the restful passing of our father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, Earl Franklin Ogden on Monday, November 27th.

Earl’s life began in Topeka, Kansas, as a child he moved to Boulder, Colorado where he grew up. While working for the war effort in Denver, Earl met and fell in love with Donna Huffman in welding school. In 1942 they were married. Shortly after starting his 40 year career with Continental Airlines he began a family. His daughter Judy was born in 1945 and Jonni in 1955 with many grandchildren and great grandchildren to follow. Earl relocated to Southern California where he retired from Rockwell International working on the B1 Bomber. Shortly after retiring, he returned to Colorado to be with family where you could often find him and “Grandma" sharing coffee from McDonald’s at the Stonehouse in Lakewood.

Earl’s death follows the passing of his wife Donna in 2011.

Friends and family are invited to attend an open house on Saturday, December 9th from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm
