Obituary for Eileen Bennett
Eileen Bennett passed away in Littleton, Colorado on February 14th at 9:30 PM at the age of 94.
Eileen is lovingly remembered by her four children: Joanne, Pamela, Lynn and Phil; nine grandchildren: Donnelle, Yvette; Eric, Amelia; Lisa, Francesca; Brittany, Stewart and Joshua and seven great-grandchildren.
Eileen is survived by Ray Pearson, her loyal companion of nearly thirty years and her sister Audrey.
Eileen was born in Ozawkie, Kansas on July 14th, 1923. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ozawkie High School in 1940 and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Bacteriology from the University of Kansas in 1944. She moved to California in 1945 to work at Scripps Institute in La Jolla.
She moved to Colorado to be near her son, Phil, and his family in 2003, and enjoyed fifteen years with an abundance of loving friends from the community and Heritage United Methodist Church. She will be missed.
The memorial service will be held at Heritage United Methodist Church at 7077 South Simms Street, Littleton, Colorado 80127 on Monday, February 19th at 10:30 AM.
The burial service will be held in Ozawkie, Kansas on February 24th at 2:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Eileen’s name to the Missions and Outreach program at Heritage United Methodist Church.

Celebration of Eileen's life followed by a light recepetion. The casket will not be open at the church. Graveside services will held, Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Ozawkie Cemetery, Ozawkie, Kansas.
