Obituary for Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Bliss
Bliss, Elizabeth (Betty) Jane, 90, of Denver, Colorado passed away October 26, 2015. She was the daughter of Harry L. and Vera E. Bullock, step daughter of Agnes Bullock and sister of Bob and Paul Bullock, Jeanne Mertz, and Agnes O'Neill. Her husband, Van Aaron Bliss preceded her in death. She is survived by her son Bill and his wife Carol, daughter Barbara and granddaughter Jennifer.
Betty was born in Monmouth Township, Kansas, March 9, 1925. During World War II, she worked in a munitions factory. She was a supervisor for the motor vehicle department. Betty was a member of the Women's Circle at Littleton United Methodist Church. Betty was a person who truly lived her faith and was involved in many volunteer activities through the church.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
Services will be held at the Littleton United Methodist Church, 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 7, 2015. The church is located at 5894 S. Datura Street, Littleton, CO. 80120
