Hessling, George Nicholas, age 84, of Monument. George was born on December 6, 1927 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the parents of George Nicholas Hessling and Anna Marie Koploski. He married the love of his life, Mary Agnes Schuster, on August 30, 1947, and was happily married for almost 65 years. He is survived by his wife Mary, and eight children: James Hessling and wife Bernadette, John Hessling and wife Delores, Charles Hessling and wife Vicky, Thomas Hessling and wife Ellie, Debra Safyre, Robert Hessling and wife Bianca, William Hessling and wife Julie, and Judith Rossbach and husband Thomas, along with 23 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and sister, Lucille Birmingham, husband Frank.
Service:
A celebration of life service will be held for George Nicholas Hessling, 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 25, 2012, St. Peter Catholic Church, 55 N. Jefferson Street, Monument, CO 80132. Father Don Brownstein will begin the celebration with a rosary at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass officiated by Monsignor Bob Jaeger at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow at the Church hall at noon.
