Obituary for Glenn A. Crissman

Crissman, Sr., Glenn Alan, died in his home in Highlands Ranch, CO February 17th, 2012. He was 62. Glenn was born in Waynesboro, VA and attended Fort Defiance High School and James Madison University. Glenn married Lea in 1975 in Staunton, VA. For Glenn’s work with Bell Labs, US West and Qwest Communications the family lived in Salt Lake City, UT, Flemington, NJ and Highlands Ranch, CO. Glenn really enjoyed retired life in Colorado as it afforded him the time and opportunity to pursue the hobbies he enjoyed most. He loved to water and snow ski, roller blade, mountain bike, work out and climb the Colorado Fourteeners. He summited all but 2 of the 54 Peaks over 14,000 feet in Colorado. He also enjoyed traveling the US with his wife, listening to music, reading and staying on top of today’s Technology Trends. He especially liked spending time with his grandkids. He was a loyal and generous friend, a loving husband, wonderful father and an amazing grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Lea Crissman, sons Glenn Jr. and Steven Crissman (Debbe), Staunton, VA, daughter, Lindsey Engbrecht (Jeremy) and 4 grandchildren - Livia, Mazie, Cooper & Lucy Engbrecht (Aurora, CO). His time with us was too short. He is greatly missed and fondly remembered.
