Obituary for Harmon Loyce "Hot" Phillips
Harmon "Hot" Phillips, age 98 of Littleton.
Funeral services for Mr. Harmon L. “Hot” Phillips, age 98, will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, October 13, 2018, in the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Gerald Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
Mr. Phillips passed away October 5, 2018 in Littleton, Colorado. He was born June 18, 1920, in Lexington, Tennessee to the late Roy and Corilla Wadley Phillips.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Wilson Phillips; brother, Paul Phillips; daughter, Ann Ward Green.
Mr. Phillips was a heavy equipment operator for TVA and a member of IBEW. Mr. Phillips defended freedom against danger on foreign soil during WWII. He served with distinction during five major campaigns with the U.S. Army as a soldier of the 117th Infantry, 30th Division. His outstanding contributions to the war mission reflects great credit upon himself, his family, the Great State of Tennessee and the United States Army.
Surviving relatives include his daughter, Sue Muir-Bradshaw (Greg) of Littleton, CO; grandchildren, Robin Noe (Kenny Paul) of Keller, TX, Kimberlyn Lyman, Garland, TX, Robert “Denny” Lyman (Erin) of Henderson, CO, Landon Bradshaw (Amy), Kelowna, BC Canada, Hank Bradshaw (Leah) of Littleton, CO ; great-grandchildren, Kassi and Jeremy Noe, Chance and Shelbi Bailey, and Maggie Bradshaw; great great-grandchildren, Dakota, Cooper, Hunter, and Lainey Noe; many beloved family and friends.
Visitation for Mr. Phillips will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018, 9:30 am – 10:30 am at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home.
