Obituary for Irene Helena (Schalk) Rosser
Irene, age 82 of Centennial, Colorado.
Irene Helena (Schalk) Rosser was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in 1939 to Karl and Anna Schalk. She had an older brother, Karl and a younger brother, Alfred. For her own family she liked to say she specialized in girls as she had 6 daughters: Gail, Lynda, Helen, Ruth, Anne and Joan. She had 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Irene had Multiple Sclerosis (MS) for many years which caused her to use a motorized wheelchair. This did not slow her down! We often had to do a little jog to keep up with her.
She had many friends. Irene was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and strove to follow her Savior’s example daily. Many loved her and checked on her regularly, helping with rides and countless other things. We will be forever grateful for their assistance on our mothers’ behalf.
Irene offered friendship to anyone that needed it. She has been known to bring a box of ice-cream to a friend and sit in their garage to visit since she couldn’t go up the stairs. She was always happy to visit with everyone! Everyone knew Irene.
Now she is free of physical ailments and is watching over us, walking, dancing, twirling, skipping and jumping in the fields of heaven.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022, 10:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 1939 E Easter Ave, Centennial, CO 80122.
