Obituary for Jacqueline Marie Nash
Nash, Jacqueline Marie, 66 of Elizabeth, Colorado, took the Lord's hand and was led home on April 24, 2013. Jackie was born to John and Victoria R. A.(Olson) Holm in Hibbing, Minnesota on March 24, 1947 and graduated from Hibbing High School in 1965. Jackie's unwavering faith in God and her undying devotion to her family could be felt and seen in every aspect of Jackie's life. Jackie leaves her legacy with one brother, Terrence K. Holm of Henderson, NV, with the 19 years she spent with Roger C. Merry and the three children that they had together, Rachael M. Merry (Danielle Love) of Garnavillo, IA, Catherine T. Merry (Dan) Check of Wausau, WI, and Andrea B. Merry (Larry) Rineck of Boyceville, WI, and also with her husband of 23 years, John T. Nash and his two children, Tom J. (Stacey) Nash of Arvada, CO and David P. (Lisa) Nash of Westminster, CO. Jacqueline's love and kindness resounds with her 10 grandchildren, Austyn, J.T. and Tyler Nash; Preston and Colton Nash; Madeline, Lydia and Gwenyth Check; and Jack (named after his grandmother) and Lillian Rineck. Jackie also leaves a legacy with the many veterans that are a part of Combat Veterans Cowboy Up, a non-profit organization that she and her husband, John, founded in 2006. Jackie's humble nature, tender heart, gentleness and ministry to the veterans was an integral part of the organization's success. Jackie treated every veteran like family and her presence will truly be missed. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, aunts Marie O. A. (Olson) Skeels and Elizabeth A. C. Olson, an uncle Oscar M. B. Olson and one cousin Bradley Olson.
