Obituary for James Lee Scarboro
Scarboro, James (Jim) Lee, age 48 of Aurora. Jim passed away peacefully, surrounded by his close family at their vacation cabin in Hall Valley Colorado on June 22, 2014 at the age of 48. Jim is predeceased by his grandmother, Eleanor A. McCulloch, grandfather, Gaylen D. McCulloch, grandmother, Vivian Scarboro, grandfather, James Scarboro and stepfather, RT Blackstock (Blackie). Jim is lovingly remembered by his mother, Karen Scarboro, father, Jerry Scarboro, brother, Jeff Scarboro, sister-in-law, Vicki Scarboro, niece, Abby Scarboro, nephew, Eric Scarboro of Centennial and by all of those lives and spirits he touched through his teaching and music. Jim was born in Sacramento, California on October 6, 1965. He graduated from Cherry Creek High School in 1984 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Music and Business from University of Colorado in 1990. He worked as Guitar Instructor and Operations Manager at Guitar Center. Jim enjoyed riding motorcycles, quality time with his family and sharing his love through music.
