Obituary for Jan M. Linnebur
Jan Marie (Overly) Linnebur, age 56 of Strasburg, CO was born on February 2,1964 to Richard and Nancy Overly in Denver, CO.
Jan lived in Byers until she married her husband Tom Linnebur on June 12, 1982 and together they had three children Cody James, Cory Allen and Lisa Marie where they made their lives in Strasburg where Jan lived until her death on July 22, 2020.
Jan was a long-time employee of the Strasburg Conoco where she worked for 17 years and was the Store Manager. She was known by most in the community as kind and always with a smile. To her family she was the one who ensured the family traditions of Thanksgiving and Easter for the Linnebur’s continued, whether we wanted to or not. To her husband, children she was their world and the one they could always depend on. They enjoyed vacationing in Vegas and at the lake together as often as they could.
Jan is survived by her husband Tom, mother Nancy, son Cory (Rachael) and daughter Lisa (Danny), She was a proud grandma to Isaak, Serenity, Andrew, Quinton, and greatly anticipating the arrival of Stetson. She is also survived by Isaak’s mom Emma Copeland, countless in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Jan was preceded in death by her son Cody, father Richard, brother Donny, both sets of grandparents Alvin and Jessie Radebaugh and Leland and Alma Overly and in-laws Marvin and Dorothy Linnebur.
Jan was an organ donor and her final act of kindness was that her organs were donated to others so that they may live.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Strasburg Fire and Rescue in Jan's memory.
