Obituary for John M, "Jack" Larsen, Jr.
John M. (Jack) Larsen, Jr died November 6, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Gwynne; three sons, Brad, Blair and Randy; seven grandchildren, Dillon, Madison, Kristen, Michael, Evyn, Josh and Nate; two great grandchildren, Riley and Tyler; and his brother Larry.
He was Executive Vice President of Banner Distributing Company for 30 years; Owner of Frontier Photography Studios of Lakewood. He graduated from Denver University. He served in the Naval Air Force.
Jack was sharp, silly and always ready with a good wisecrack or joke. He was the original “Lucky Larsen” – giving his grandchildren all his half-dollar casino winnings when they were kids up through the last few years and the original Larsen sales executive - always ready to offer coaching sessions with his sons and granddaughters. His passion was playing golf and cribbage.
We are heart broken to no longer have him with us; yet he will always be with us in our hearts. We will continue to make you proud as you watch over us.
Services include a United States Naval Service at Fort Logan National Cemetery on December 27th at 12 noon in the “A” Staging area which is at the North Gate Entrance. Directly following interment, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Wind Crest Fireside Room at 1:30 P.M., 3235 Mill Vista Road, Highlands Ranch.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the “Student Scholarship Fund” at Wind Crest Community. This fund allows high school students who work at Wind Crest the opportunity to get funding toward their college tuition.
