Obituary for John Matthew Czajkowski
Czajkowski, John Matthew, age 87 of Littleton.
With God's grace, John passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the age of 87. He was born August 5, 1931 in Lackawanna, New York (a suburb of Buffalo). He lived a wonderful and full life, filled with challenges and triumphs.
He was a loving husband to his wife, Jean "Dorothy" for almost 57 years. He was a father to three children Tim married to Jane, Tom married to Lisa, and Tam married to Keith and an adoring grandfather of six grandchildren, currently ranging in age from 24 to 17: Michael, Ian, Mathew, Isabella, Paige and Sophia.
John was preceded in death by his father John Sr., mother Florence, step mother Josephine, and his brother Donald.
John and Jean had a long and happy marriage. They were together every single day -- two peas in a pod. They ran all their errands together, ate all their meals together, did everything together - and supported each other through almost six decades of life’s ups and downs. They had a tremendous circle of very dear friends. They were great role models for us all.
John was an avid reader of the news, a gardener, a sun lover and a sports fanatic. He was a lifelong, very loyal fan of all teams Buffalo -- especially the Bills and Sabres. Rarely missed a game on television or radio, and if he did, was checking the box scores in the newspaper first thing in the morning.
He was an early riser and a hard worker. He was a tinkerer, too, who loved to ‘patch things up’ to give them a little extra life and usefulness.
John was loved by all and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
