Obituary for Joseph Francis Gamarano, III
Joe held many titles during his time with us. He is survived by his father Joseph Gamarano Jr. and his sister Judi Gamarano. He was a loving husband to Judy and a dedicated father to his children, Joseph the IV, and Jennifer. Most recently he welcomed Jared Harper, Jennifer's husband, to the family. From this joyous union came his two beautiful grandsons, Luke Charles and Henry Linus.
Joe began his flying career with a bachelor degree in aeronautical science from Emery Riddle Aeronautical University. He served his country as an officer and C-141 pilot in the United States Air Force.
He flew for National Airlines, Pan American Airways and United Airlines. He was a loyal member of ALPA for 40 years. Joe will be greatly missed but his spirit will remain strong in our hearts forever.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Joe's memory at stjude.org.
