Obituary for Juventina Andrade
Juventina, age 88 of Northglenn, Colorado. Beloved wife of the late James Andrade.
Juventina, (Juve, Mom, Tina or Oma) Andrade was born in a small farming community in Mexico known as Plaza de Limon.
In 1960 she met the love of her life, James, when he took a trip with his parents to visit family in the same small town. It was love at first sight and they were married in 1961.
She moved to Denver to start her family. She was a devoted mother. She stayed home with her children until her youngest child enter junior high school. At that time, around 1978, she began working for StorageTek in Broomfield, Colorado as a computer assembler. She worked there until 1987.
She returned to her previous role of homemaker. She cared for her husband until his death in 2009.
Juventina is survived by her four children, James B (Carol), Rafael (Lee Ann), Julio (Kim) and daughter, Susan. Four grandchildren, Rafael Jr. (Cherisse), Lindsey Bax, Chantelle (Carlos) and Luis. Three great grandchildren, Desire, Carlos III and Giovanni. Her sister, Refugio Andrade Avila and several loving nieces and nephews.
Her viewing will be held Friday, September 18th, at 1:00 PM followed by her Rosary and eulogy/family memories at 2:00 PM, and ending with her Mass at 3:00 PM all at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Northglenn, CO.
For those who cannot attend her celebration of life in person, we will be live streaming the mass on her daughter’s Facebook Live page.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
