Obituary for Kevin Charles Kvidera
Kvidera, Kevin Charles, age 57 of Conifer. Kevin Charles Kvidera, 57, of Conifer Colorado, died Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at Porter Hospice Residence in Centennial, Colorado. Kevin was born May 24, 1957, the son of Phyllis Kvidera and the late Charles Kvidera in Grundy Center, Iowa. He graduated from Tripoli High School in 1975. Kevin was a devoted and loving father to his two daughters, Chelsey and Ashlee. Even though Kevin and Chelsey were separated by miles Chelsey called her 'daddy' almost every day in which Kevin's response was always 'hi baby'. Kevin was self-employed as a carpenter and took great pride in perfection. He had an infectious laugh that could light up a room. He was a volunteer firefighter, loved fishing and spending time with his brother and best friend. Kevin is survived by his daughters, Chelsey (Montana) Masters of Greenville, South Carolina and Ashlee Kvidera-Bursch of Raleigh, North Carolina. His mother Phyllis Kvidera of Des Moines, Iowa; his brother Kenny (Carma) Kvidera of Conifer, Colorado; and his two sisters, Kim (Mitch) Dillavou of Ames, Iowa; and Karla (Al) Shatzer of La Crosse, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles C. Kvidera.
Service: Celebration of Life at a later date in Iowa.
Service: A mass was held at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church in Conifer, Colorado.
