Marci Lynn Bennett of Littleton, CO went home to be with her Lord on August 23, 2020 at the age of 44, after losing her battle with pneumonia. Marci was born April 3, 1976 to James Kenneth Reingrover and Vicki Lynn Erickson in Fontana, CA. She is a member of the body of Christ and attended the Westside Church of Christ in Golden, CO.
Marci moved to Littleton, CO in 1992 and attended Chatfield Senior High School and played on the Girls’ Softball team. She graduated in 1994, following which she attended Florida College in Temple Terrace, FL, where she completed one year of studies before returning home to Colorado. In 1996, she became the wife of Christopher Paul Bennett to whom she was married for 24 years. Chris, was a widower with four beautiful children, Marci became an instant wife, mother, and homemaker, a role which she loved. She was blessed to become a mother herself in 1997 with the birth of her son, Tyler James, and then again in 2008 with a daughter, Aubree Grace. At the time of her death she had twelve beloved grandchildren.
Though Marci was not a career motivated woman, she did work for a variety of employers over the years, all of which were service oriented positions. Her most recent position was with the Hampton Inn hotel in Highlands Ranch, CO. She was an exceptional cook and loved serving others with her life.
One of her greatest joys was to serve at her children’s school as their home room mom, planning and organizing the class parties and activities at which she excelled. She also loved to cheer those in rest homes which was so easy for her to do with her infectious smile.
