Obituary for Marianne Winckler Chengrian
Marriane, age 57 of Highlands Ranch, CO.
Marianne was born in Jamaica, New York, on June 4, 1961, to parents Albin and Margaret (Knapp) Winckler. Marianne graduated from Baldwin High school in 1979 and went on to attend Binghamton University (SUNY) where she graduated in 1983 with a degree in mathematics.
After moving to Colorado in 1985, she began working as a software engineer for United Airlines. A highlight of her career was 4 years in Swindon, England. While there, she and Ken began their lives together.
Marianne and Ken married on June 19, 1993, and together they raised children Austin and Elizabeth.
Marianne enjoyed traveling, hiking, and camping. She was a devoted mother, wife, and sister. Marianne was genuine, caring, and kind, with a smile like a sunrise.
Marianne is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret, in 1977.
She is survived by her husband Ken of 25 years, children Austin and Elizabeth; her father Albin and stepmother Patricia Winckler; brother Steven (Kathy) Winckler; sister Kate Winckler; brother Jim Winckler; brother Steve (Colleen) Bohn. Donations in memory of Marianne can be made to:
