Cruz, Maritza Alejandra, age 25 of Highlands Ranch.
Maritza Alejandra Cruz was born on June 26, 1991 in Littleton, CO and died on December 13, 2016 in Castle Pines, CO. Maritza was the youngest of four siblings and the pride and joy of her family. She was a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines where she studied chemical engineering and was most recently working as a Sales and Service Engineer at Summit Laboratories.
Maritza loved science and always said she wanted to be an engineer when she grew up. She had a warm, loving personality and cared deeply for her family and friends. She was a generous person who would give anything to help those she loved. Maritza was an incredibly beautiful and unique woman, and she will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Maritza is survived by her parents, José and Martha; her siblings, Luis, Marisol, and Rocio; and by her niece and two nephews, Isabel, Alessandro, and Sebastian.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Adams family who will be hosting a reception after the graveside burial from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. at their home: 2341 Indian Paintbrush Drive, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129.
