Obituary for Martha M. Wilson
Martha M. (Schwarz) Wilson of Lakewood, CO.
Martha was born in White Sulphur Springs, WV to Fred and Mary Etta (nee Holland) Schwarz. She died on December 28th at Accel at Golden Ridge in Golden, CO at the age of 90 years. She graduated from Lakewood High School and attended the University of Denver earning her Associate Degree in Business. Martha was retired from the Internal Revenue Service.
Martha was married to William R. Wilson on August 8, 1953. Bill preceded her in death on July 27, 2012 after 59 years together.
She is survived by her sister Frieda B. Daugherty of Lakewood, CO; brother-in-law Raymond (Kay) Wilson of Mentor, OH; nieces Sunny Marie (Brad) Hackman of Lakewood, CO and Susan (Paul) Rohde of Greeley, CO.
Martha is also survived by great-nephew Victor J. (Sarah) Merchant of Centennial, CO; great-nieces Michelle Jean (Bryan) Knight of Denver, CO, Jesslyn Rae (Christopher) Hildred of Highlands Ranch, CO, Elizabeth (Peter) Martin of Greeley, CO and Christine (Ryan) Coyer of Ouray, CO; great-great-nephews Brendan Frausto of Denver, CO, Samuel A. Merchant of Centennial, CO, Bowen Joseph Merchant of Centennial, CO, Zachary Issac Hildred of Highlands Ranch, CO, Cameron John Hildred of Highlands Ranch, CO and Trent Martin of Greeley, CO; great-great-nieces Emery Anne Merchant of Highlands Ranch, CO and Willow Joy Merchant of Highlands Ranch, CO with additional nephews and nieces in Ohio and Virginia.
In addition to Martha’s parents, she is preceded in death by brothers-in-law John Daugherty and Thomas Wilson and his wife Shirley and sister-in-law Mildred Louise Cottrill and her husband Fred.
