Coates, Dorothy Mobley, Littleton, Colorado, 85, passed away January 12, 2012. Dorothy was born September 21, 1926 in Fargo, Georgia to William Henry Mobley and Nancy Mann Mobley. Dorothy was the devoted wife of Robert E. Coates, her husband of 58 years. She was the beloved mother of eight children: Mary Anne Brough, Paul Coates, Kelly Coates, Daniel Coates (deceased), Rebecca Jensen, Caroline Folkman, Elizabeth Tannyhill and Curtis Coates and loving grandmother of 23 grandchildren: Daniel, Ryan, Caroline, Alexander, Matthew, Katherine, Isabella, Josephine, and Catherine Coates, Truman and Austin Brough, Peter, Aaron, Nathan and David Jensen, Andrew, Connor, Grant and Spencer Folkman, Sarah, Matthew, Benjamin and Lauren Tannyhill. She is also survived by her sisters Ina 'Tiny' Bozeman and Hazel Lee. Dorothy graduated from Crawford Long Nursing School in Atlanta, Georgia and dedicated her life to her family and to loving and serving others. She served as a missionary for the LDS church in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Old Town San Diego, California.
