Obituary for Mary L. John
John, Mary was a native Coloradan, who lived here for all her 94 years. She was born in a house on top of a mountain up Cold Creek Canyon. She loved the mountains, always wanting to see them from her window, no matter what home she lived in. She lived in Littleton for 62 years, with the same phone number and went to the same church. She raised three children, Solon, Marilyn and Michael, who she loved as much as her mountains. She was very active in women's organizations and always was the 'room mother' for her kids classes. She was the mother who was always home when her children came home from school. She was a great cook, and had most of the family get together at her home. She had seven grandkids, who she loved as much as her children and her mountains. She was a spunky little lady, who was a delight to be around. She had many friends and was a friend to many. She will be missed. We will miss her but are celebrating that she is with Jesus.
Cemetery: Graveside service, Monday, February 20, 2012, 2:00 pm. Those attending please meet inside the front main gates in front of the office.
