Wiley, Michael James, was born August 24, 1962, in Oskaloosa, IA, to Clyde and Mary Wiley. Mike accepted Christ when he was 7 and rededicated his life to Christ in high school at FCA camp, at Oral Roberts University. Mike grew up in Newton, IA, and graduated from Newton High School in 1980, where he sang in the choir and played football, basketball, and tennis. He attended college at Northwestern College in Roseville, MN, where he played football and tennis. In the fall of 1982 he met Sandra Dreyer at Northwestern and they immediately fell in love and became best friends. They were married in July 21, 1984. He excelled at coaching, which he took seriously at William Penn College and also the boys little league football and basketball teams. Mike and Sandi’s three boys are Jordan Michael (22), Westin Michael (21), and Graham Michael (18). All three boys are currently in college. Mike worked the last 18 years as District Manager for Hennessey Industries where he valued and developed personal relationships. His humble spirit sought the direction of God in conversation and prayer for those he came in contact with each day. Mike cherished time spent with Sandi, the boys, family, and friends. He loved spending time at the boys’ games and activities. He also enjoyed being outside fishing, playing tennis, and walking with his best friend Sandi. Mike valued worshipping at Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church, participating in his small group Bible study, and supporting local ministries.
