Obituary for Opal C. Schou
Opal Casados Schou, age 92 of Littleton.
Mrs. Opal Schou was born in Boise City, OK to Annie and Leon Casados on November 7, 1925. She graduated from Boise City High School. She married Harold “Ozzie” A. Schou in 1953 in Las Vegas, NV. Opal was a devoted catholic, loving mother, grandmother, aunt and homemaker who adored her family and friends. She was a devoted wife who traveled with her husband who was a retired military Air Force Master Sergeant. She worked at Luke Air Force Base and worked at an elementary school. Opal was also an outstanding seamstress.
Opal is preceded in death by her parents, Annie and Leon Casados; sister Esther Casados-Barcelon; her husband Harold “Ozzie” A. Schou; son Gary Schou and niece Lynn Barcelon.
Opal is survived by her daughter Linda Schou-Johnsen; brother Sam Casados; sister Mary Myers; grandson Ryan Brownsberger; sister-in-law Gayle Casados; nieces Barbara Barcelon, Shelly Casados and Candace Myers-Davis; nephews Robert Barcelon, Larry Casados, Steve Casados and Levi Myers.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Brownsberger, Robert Barcelon, Larry Casados, Steve Casados, Doug Severs, Jim Tauffman.
The family of Opal Schou wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Life Care Center in Littleton for her extraordinary care and treatment while living there the last 18 months.
