Obituary for Patricia Louise Gilmore
Patricia Louise Gilmore was born Aug. 25, 1954, in Denver. She passed away Nov. 20 in Lakewood.
Born to Patrick and Corinne Tucker, Patti was a fifth-generation Coloradan. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1972 and graduated from the University of Colorado in 1976 with a bachelor’s in history. She loved to write, travel, learn and, more than anything, spend time talking and laughing with the people around her. Patti was a helper and spent her energy focusing on helping the people she loved and all of the people around her. She was known for her laugh. Even in the most difficult times, Patti always had a smile and a joke to keep everyone going.
Patti was preceded in death by her father, Patrick Tucker, and mother, Corinne Tucker. She is survived by her husband, Mark Gilmore; children, Tucker and Susan Gilmore; granddaughter, Cadence Gilmore; and numerous loved ones and friends.
