Obituary for Raymond E. "Gene" Fruhwirth
Raymond Eugene "Gene" Fruhwirth of Denver, 83 years old passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the Bethany Nursing and Rehab Center in Lakewood, CO.
Gene was born February 3,1935 in Windsor, CO to Joe and Violet (nee Cook) Fruhwirth who preceded him in death along with an older brother John Fruhwirth and two nephews, Ronnie and Randy.
Gene is survived by a younger brother Howard Fruhwirth who resides in North Dakota and three sisters, Velma (Floyd) McFarland, Ruth McFarland, and Wanda Long all whom reside in Colorado as well as numerous nieces and nephews scattered throughout the States.
Gene is a retired printer for Frontier Airlines. He was a lover of animals and rescued many. He loved to travel all over the United States and overseas in his younger years.
Gene was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
