Obituary for Raymond John Feldt
Feldt, Raymond John, age 73 of Littleton. Raymond, the son of George and Alice Boot Feldt, was born in Fulton, IL on September 9, 1940. He graduated from Central College, Pella, IA and earned an MS and Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Illinois. He married Marlene Kresge on June 11, 1966 and they resided in Urbana, IL; Wilmington, DE; and 36 years in Hillsborough, NJ before retiring to Littleton in 2006. He worked for the plastics Division of DuPont and Johnson & Johnson's Central Research and the Dental Division, where he was awarded a US Patent for dental restorative materials. He retired as Director of Quality Control at Jacobus Pharmaceuticals in Princeton, NJ. He was active in 4-H in his youth and later as an adult leader. He was a life-long member of the Reformed Church, most recently Our Saviour's Church in Lakewood. He was also a member of the American Chemical Society and Alpha Chi Sigma Chemical Fraternity. He is survived by his wife; 2 sons, David of Littleton and Douglas (Julie) of Bertram, TX; and 2 grandsons, Nathan and Blake.
