Obituary for Richard Lee "Dick" Leonard
Richard "Dick" Leonard, 77, of Lakewood Colorado passed away Saturday September 7th, 2019. He leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Karna (Fowler) Leonard, two daughters Laurie Flocken and Leslie (Paul) Santaniello, a granddaughter Rylee Flocken, two grandsons Ryan Flocken and Steven Santaniello, his sister Jan (Howard) Catron of Altoona, IA, and several other family members. Dick was preceded in death by his parents Doris (Joseph) Johnson and Darwin (Dorothy) Leonard, two brothers Charles and Robert and grandson Joseph Santaniello.
Dick was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated from Morningside College in Sioux City Iowa where he was a member of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. After college Dick began a career in the Food Service business where he worked for the Coca-Cola Company, CODE Incorporated and The Sysco Corporation.
Dick will forever be loved by his family and will remain in our hearts and memories forever.
There will be no formal service per his request, but the family invites you to share any memories or stories of Dick on his tribute wall.
