Obituary for Robert "Rob" Steven Shelton
Rob was born on February 13, 1971, in Denver, Colorado to Bob and Diana Shelton. He was raised in Arvada and graduated from Arvada High School in 1989.
After graduation, Rob began his lifelong career in the interior flooring, countertop and tile industry, working for companies in Colorado and Texas.
In the fall of 1989, Rob met and married the love of his life, April Harris, his wife of 28 years. Together, Rob and April spent their time traveling, camping, boating, fishing and spending time with friends and family. Their favorite activity together was watching Sunday football and their beloved Broncos.
Rob is survived by his wife, April; parents Bob & Diana Shelton of Westminster, sister Trish (Brian) Cordova of Westminster and sister Barb (Rick) Morger of Arvada. Father and mother-in-law John (Leilani) Harris of Littleton, Colorado. Brother-in-law Dereck (Sina) Kelau of Spanish Fork, Utah, sister-in-law Verna (Craig) Boyce of Middletown, Connecticut and brother-in-law Michael (Mary) Harris of Littleton, Colorado. Rob will also be forever remembered by his nieces and nephews and numerous extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 23 at 11:00 am at Ellis Family Services, 13436 West Arbor Place, Littleton, Colorado 80127.
