Obituary for Ronald F. "Ron" King
Ronald F. King was born February 8, 1951 to Robert and Pauline King in Evanston, Illinois. Ron is survived by his wife of 37 years Margaret (Naples) King. However they knew one another since childhood. Ron was a loving husband, father and grandfather who dedicated his life to his family. His caring nature and generosity knew no bounds. Ron’s wit, sense of humor, and his heartfelt laughter will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his children, Ashley King, Kylee (John) Wyckoff, Alana King, two grandchildren McKenna (10) and Emerson (2), brother Eugene King, sister Shirley Hildebrand and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Pauline King, and brother Michael King.
Ron was a true entrepreneur, and started his first business at the age of 18 which led to a successful manufacturing business in Colorado with both national and international projects.
Ron had many friends which he held close to his heart. He loved cooking, fishing, sunsets, traveling, and life in general.
We miss him greatly, we’ll miss him every day as he is now off playing in the sunsets.
A wake will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 4-8 at Chapel at Ellis Family Services, 13436 West Arbor Place, Littleton, CO 80127. Visitation at 9:45 AM until the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Light of the World Catholic Church, 10316 W. Bowles Avenue, Littleton, CO 80127, a luncheon will follow the Mass.
