Sandra H. Rosenstein passed away Sunday, August 13th, 2023 in Aurora, Colorado.
Beloved daughter of Kurt and Catherine Hoffmann; Adoring granddaughter to the late Doris and Stanley Hoffmann and the late Winnie and Edwin McKinnis; Loving sister to Lyra (Nels) Nelson; Official Best Aunt in the Universe to Jorgen and Milo Nelson; Adored Ex-wife to Curt Rosenstein; Best friend to Janice White; Adoring “Aunt” to Austin, Nathan and Emily White; Proud and most loving mom to Ziva the Best Dog and the late Max (also known as the Best Dog); Niece, cousin, “Aunt”, and friend to so many more, too numerous to mention; Devoted Superfan to the NY Yankees and the Buffalo Bills.
In Sandy’s free time, she could be found going for walks with Ziva, hiking with friends in the mountains, travelling anywhere and everywhere, making fleece blankets, painting and crafting, watching sports, volunteering at the Food Bank of the Rockies, volunteering with veterans at Project Healing Waters, encouraging people to floss, and generally being awesome and spreading kindness and love.
Due to her bigger than life personality, there will be two services.
The Colorado Celebration of Life will be held at the Chapel at Ellis Family Services located at13436 West Arbor Place, Littleton, CO 80127. Light refreshments at 10am will be followed by a celebration at 11am on Saturday, September 2nd, 2023.
The New York Memorial service will be held at 11am on October 7th, 2023 at Fair Street Reformed Church located at 209 Fair Street, Kingston, NY 12401.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sandy’s memory may be made to Food Bank of the Rockies, Denver Rescue Mission and Project Healing Waters.
