GRIEF & HEALING
affirmations to uplift & help you through
each stage of the grieving process.
On December 26, 2020, Terry Lee Holmes went to meet his Lord and Savior. He left this earth peacefully; surrounded by his family. He is survived by his beautiful wife, three wonderful children, eight precious grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, as well as his beloved brother, and two sisters.
Born in Montana in 1943. He grew from humble beginnings on a farm in Idaho. Terry embodied the American dream. He served his country bravely in the Vietnam war, and continued his service for 26 years until retiring from the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sergeant in 1988. His passion for aircraft continued in Colorado. It lead to a most distinguished career with McDonnell Douglas and FlightSafety Services Corporation. Ending with his retirement in 2014.
Terry Lee Holmes was a man of impeccable character. A man of quiet confidence, and deep compassion. A man of incredible intelligence, and careful thought. He was endlessly curious; an explorer. He loved beautiful views, and growing things. He was a man possessed by the relentless pursuit of excellence in every aspect of his life. But above all, Terry Holmes loved his family.
He will be remembered by those who knew him. His example: as a man, as a husband, as a father, as a grandfather, and a friend will continue to inspire us all.
We will miss him.
Until we meet again.
