Obituary for Thomas "TJ" Guy Bennett
Thomas Guy "TJ" Bennett of Morrison, Colorado.

Preceded in death by his mother Clarice Bennett, father Richard Bennett and brother Richard Bennett II.

He is survived by his son Paul Bennett (Amy), daughter Chardonnay Bennett, brother Gregory Bennett, sister Denise Bennett Frazier (John), nephews Tom Bennett (Angela) great niece and nephew, Wayne Bennett (Libby) 2 great nieces, Jesse Frazier (Mallory) and Niece Ally Frazier (Scott) 2 great nieces.

Tom graduated from Englewood High School in 1964. He honorably served as an Officer in the United States Army serving a good portion of that time in Germany. He had a long career in the liquor industry as store manager at Bootlegger Liquors and then owner of his own store in Frisco. In his second career, he helped to open the first Casino in Central City and continued to work in that industry until early retirement.

TJ was an avid Sports Fan, particularly the CU Buffs and Denver Broncos. He was a lifetime Auto Racing enthusiast, and more recently a huge Nascar fan.

TJ was deeply involved in the Morrison Jaycees serving as President and doing charitable work all through Morrison CO.

He was a music aficionado, an artist and craftsman and superb cook and baker. A perfectionist and the “Life of the Party”!

TJ marched to the beat of a different drum and will be respected, admired and loved by his family for doing so.
