Obituary for Thomas Joseph Byrne
Byrne, Thomas Joseph, age 68, was born in Denver, Colorado. He is survived by his wife: Verleen, son Anthony (Whitney), daughters Monae and Danielle (Geoff Danenhauer), his favorite 4-legged daughter Skylar, 4 grandchildren: Delaynie, Malorie, Jesse, and Savannah, sister Rita Boothe, brothers Jude (Eileen), Bill (Sandy), Bob, aunts Catherine Flageolle, Frances Johnson, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Tom enjoyed being with his family, his dog Sky, reading, traveling, golfing, bowling, watching sports and game shows, and was especially gifted at cooking. He spent his childhood in Denver, CO and moved with his parents to Stratton, CO then to Wray, CO and then to McCook, NE where he graduated from high school in 1962. Immediately after graduation he returned to Denver where he worked with his brother-in-law, Dennis in the restaurant and bar business. He continued in the restaurant and food industry until his retirement. On April 11, 1964 he married the love of his life, Verleen Graham where they spent the next 48 ½ years raising their children and spoiling their grandchildren.
