Obituary for Vincent Gonzales, Jr.
Gonzales, Jr., Vincent, age 90 of Wheat Ridge. Vincent passed away at Porter Hospice on Friday, November 28, 2014. Vince was born on March 10, 1924 in Denver, CO where he lived in his words “A Long , Healthy and Happy Life”. He is survived by his sons Vincent Allen (Dorinda) Gonzales and Lyle Raymond Gonzales; his grandchildren Vincent Michael (Emily) Gonzales, Alicia Lee (Joe) Collyar, Deslee Marie (Chad) Lloyd; great granddaughters Evelyn and Abigail and great grandson Nolan. He was preceded in death by his grandson Darren James Gonzales. Vince is also survived by two sisters Kay Wilkerson and Rozella Trujillo. Vince grew up in North Denver which he loved and where he continued to live his entire life. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy as part of the “Fighting CB’s” in the South Pacific during World War II. He will be greatly missed by his family and huge contingent of friends.
