Obituary for Virginia L. Branine
Virginia Lee "Ginny" Branine, age 85 of Littleton, was born in Denver, Colorado on March 28, 1930, to Allen and Imogene Hayden. She was the 3rd child and sister to three brothers Allen, Charles "Chad", and Kenneth Jerold "Jerry". She grew up in Lakewood, Colorado and was a cheerleader at Lakewood High School. She graduated and then attended Dallas Bible Institute earning her Christian Teacher's certificate. Upon returning to Colorado, she was reacquainted with Milton Branine. Virginia and Milton had met at a Bible camp earlier in high school and following Milton's completion to the U.S. Naval services were engaged and married in 1954.

Virginia enjoyed many hobbies including bowling, golfing, hospital volunteering and involvement with many a church activities. She will be remembered as a loyal wife, loving and committed mother, dedicated friend and sacrificial servant of God.

She is survived by her son Mark (Laura) Branine of Canon City, Colorado; her daughters Kathy (Jay) Simon of Littleton, Colorado and Sharon (Steve) Wichael of Conifer, Colorado; brother Jerry (Grace) Hayden of Lakewood, Colorado as well as 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Milton in 1997, her parents and her brothers Allen and Chad.

She never knew a stranger and had a smile that was contagious to all! We all will greatly miss you, Ginny!

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be left with the family in Virginia's memory for use of her wishes.
