Obituary for William Ray Wilson
Wilson, William Ray, age 80, passed away July 27, 2012 in Lakewood, Colorado, with his wife and two nieces by his side. On July 10, 1932 Bill was born to Chester Clay and Fannie Opal (Byard) Wilson in Fairmont, WV. Upon graduation from Monongah High School, Bill joined the US Air Force. Following his basic training, he was stationed at Lowry Air Force Base in Denver, Colorado, and then transferred to Eielson Air Force Base in Fairbanks, Alaska. He served four years in the military. Upon his discharge from the military service, he and Martha made their home in Lakewood, Colorado. Bill worked as a Master Carpenter, job foreman and superintendent in commercial construction until retirement. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Martha M. (Schwarz) Wilson of Lakewood; brothers Raymond (Kay) Wilson of Mentor, Ohio, and Thomas (Shirley) Wilson of Fredericksburg, Virginia; brother-in-law and sister-in-law John and Frieda Daugherty of Lakewood, Colorado, as well as 9 nieces and nephews, 13 great nieces and nephews, and 3 great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Delores Jean Wilson and Mildred Louise Cottrill.

Cemetery:
After the luncheon, the interment will take place at 2:00 PM with military honors presented by the All Veterans Honor Guard and the US Air Force Color Guard.
